Houston
Silverlight Basics & Beyond
Markus Egger
Silverlight is Microsoft’s next generation RIA (Rich Internet Application) platform, and it’s rapidly gaining popularity. Silverlight takes many WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) concepts and moves them to the web in a cross-browser and cross-platform fashion (Silverlight runs on Windows as well as the Mac and other systems). This class provides a comprehensive introduction and overview to building Silverlight (business) applications, taking students from entry-level to being able to build a complete Silverlight application. This 3-day class includes all aspects of Silverlight application building, such as Silverlight UI development, design basics, and also server-side development and access of server-side components in various ways.
This event took place on Friday, January 1, 2010.
