EPS Software Corp. Releases New Build for CODE Framework

Houston, TX – March 5, 2014… EPS Software Corp., CODE, and Markus Egger Inc. are proud to announce a new build of the CODE Framework. The CODE Framework is available for download on Codeplex at http://codeframework.codeplex.com

The new release, available for download immediately, includes various enhancements and alterations to the existing framework. The most important new feature is the addition of a new WPF application theme called “Wildcat.” Wildcat is a theme modeled after the popular StaffLynx application, which has been approached by many WPF developers as a guideline for a look and feel desirable for their own applications. CODE received permission from the original creator of the Staff Lynx application, Billy Hollis, and has been able to include this theme as a standard theme of the CODE Framework. As with all default themes available with the CODE Framework, the Wildcat theme is free of charge.

The framework also received a significant upgrade to all styles associated with lists and visualization of list-based data. This includes the popular CODE Framework DataGrid Style, which turns ListBoxes into data grids. Performance has been improved greatly and new features have been added, ranging from display-optimizations, to new in-place editing features, and even enhanced flexibility in column header templating.

In addition, there are several other features that, while smaller, are also significant. Developer tools such as the CODE Framework View Visualizer have been enhanced greatly. New controls and classes have been added. Others have been tweaked. For instance, support for shortcut keys has been greatly improved.

As always, this build is free and open-source and can be downloaded from http://codeframework.codeplex.com
