In Windows 10, Universal Windows Apps are taking a big leap forward. While in the past, "Modern Apps" or "Metro Apps" were somewhat lacking, they are now growing up into useful applications for both consumers and businesses alike. Universal Windows Apps can run on any Windows 10 platform (Desktop, Tablet, Phone, Xbox, HoloLens,...). This session introduces the Universal Windows App platform and its capabilities both as an initial overview and then proceeds into the actual task of coding a Universal Windows App. No prior knowledge of the Universal Windows App Platform is required to attend this session. Attendees will walk away with fundamental knowledge of building Universal Windows Apps soup-to-nuts.

CODE/EPS is in a unique position to share information based on real world experience in projects that are either our own or one of the many projects we get to see in our role as mentors, trainers and consultants, as well as feedback we receive from CODE Magazine readers.

This event is completely free of charge and is designed for developers as well as IT decision makers. Specific prior knowledge is not required. Attendees of this event will come away with a clear understanding of how to build a Universal Application.
